Public Holidays 2020 in the Netherlands
New year’s day is not a holiday which is celebrated across the world and there is a holiday in every part of the world and the same in the Netherlands. It is the beginning of the year and it is on the 1st of January in the year 2020. The next holiday of the Netherlands is Good Friday which is on the 10th of April 2020. People go on vacations and trips as the coming days are also holidays as Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
King’s Day is another festival and a public holiday in the Netherlands which is celebrated on the 27th of April 2020. On this day, most of the government sectors are closed like banks and post offices and also many businesses but some private sectors still work. It is the celebration which starts an evening before the holiday, people put stalls and sell scrap things and things which are related to the celebration.

Liberation Day is a major event in the Netherland and it celebrated every 5 years and it will be coming on the 5th of May of the year 2020. It is the celebration of freedom and the end of the 2nd World War for the Netherlands.
